APP 103

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Touch Press here to begin
  • Touch DISPLAY ON button

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • Touch the PC button.

To show the laptop image:

  • Attach your laptop to the cable provided, and then touch the LAPTOP button.

To show a DVD video:

  1. Put the DVD in the DVD player.
  2. Touch the Blu-ray button on the touch panel.

Note: Additional DVD controls are located on the touch panel.    

To adjust the volume:

  • Touch the up/down arrows on the touch panel.

To black-out the screen:

  1. Touch the MUTE button.
  2. To display the image, touch the MUTE button again.

To play audio with the projector off:

  1. Press either the PC or LAPTOP button. 
  2. Play your audio.

To use the lapel microphone:

  • To turn on the microphone, press and hold the MUTE button on top of the microphone. A green light will come on.
  • To control the microphone volume, touch Lav Mic Audio, and then adjust the sound levels on the touch panel.
  • To mute the microphone tap the MUTE button on top of the microphone. The green light will change to amber.
  • To unmute the microphone, tap the MUTE button on top of the microphone. The amber light will change to green.
  • To turn off the microphone, press and hold the MUTE button on top.

Note: If the microphone isn’t working, replace the batteries.

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove your USB devices and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Press the SYSTEM OFF button.

APP 106

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Press the DISPLAY ON button. The image will appear in about 60 seconds.

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • Press the PC button.

To show the laptop image:

  1. Attach your laptop to the cable provided, and then press the LAPTOP button.

Note: If the image does not appear, press FN + F? (e.g., Fn + F8) on the laptop to toggle through the display settings.

To adjust the volume:

  • Use the up and down arrows on the right side of the screen below the Volume button.

To black-out the screen:

  1. Press the MUTE button that is on the left of the touch screen in the display section.
  2. To display the image, press the same MUTE button again.

To only mute audio:

  1. Press the MUTE button on the right side of the touch screen beneath the Volume controls.
  2. To hear audio, press the same MUTE button again.

To play audio with the projector off:

  1. Press either the PC or LAPTOP button. 
  2. Play your audio.

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices, videotapes and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Press the DISPLAY OFF button.

  2. Press the VGA or HDMI button on the touch screen. 

Note: If the image does not appear, press FN + F? (e.g., Fn + F8) on the laptop to toggle through the display settings.

To show a DVD video:

  1. Put the DVD in the DVD player.
  2. Press the DVD button on the touch screen.

Note: Additional DVD controls are located on the touch screen.

To show the document camera:

  • Press the power button on the document camera, and then press the DOC CAM button on the touch panel.

To adjust the volume:

  • Turn the volume knob to the left or right.

To show the SMART board image:

  1. If the computer by the SMART board is in standby mode, wake it up.
  2. Press the SMARTBOARD button. All video from SMART board computer will be displayed on the main classroom projector including SMART board applications.

Note: Audio for the SMART board computer will only be heard from the SMART board speaker system.

To black-out the screen:

  1. Press the MUTE button.
  2. To display the image, press the MUTE button again.

To play audio with the projector off:

  1. Press either the PC or LAPTOP button. 
  2. Play your audio.

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices, videotapes and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Press the DISPLAY OFF button.

Note: Audio for the SMART board computer will only be heard from the SMART board speaker system.
