Once these time periods have elapsed, the following actions are taken:
- H: drive files will be deleted for all students.
- For continuing education students, email accounts will be deleted.
- For students who have successfully completed at least one credit-based course, accounts will automatically be placed in "email for life" status (email access will continue uninterrupted). Additional information is available on the Alumni E-mail For Life site.
- Microsoft Office applications downloaded to student owned devices will cease to work. However, the web versions of these applications will continue to function. This only affects Office applications downloaded using your University credentials.
- Files stored on your University OneDrive will continue to be accessible.
Students should make sure they save their H: drive files (save to USB flash drives or email the files) prior the accounts being modified.
Account Terminations
The University reserves the right to terminate network accounts without notice to the account holders. Causes for this action could include:
- Suspension/dismissal of the student
- Inappropriate use of the account
- Other causes as deemed appropriate by the University
