Remove Old Email Address from Frequent Contacts

If an old email address is still showing up in Gmail when sending an email, you may need to delete that email address from your frequent contacts.

To delete an old email address from your frequent contacts:

1. Go to google.com
    
2. Click the waffle menu
   
    
3. Click "Contacts"
   
    
4. Click "Frequent" 
   
    
5. Click the three vertical dots next to the address you want to delete
   
    
6. Click "Delete"
   

Now, the email address will not appear when you type the name in Gmail.
