ALF 109

To turn on wall-mounted display:

  • Hit the power button on the remote or on the TV itself.

Note: To adjust volume either use the TV controls or the computer volume controls.

To connect tech-cart computer:

  1. Turn on computer
  2. Select HDMI 1 input with either the remote or the TV controls

To duplicate or extend the computer image to the projector or TV:

  1. Press and hold the Windows key and press the letter P (Windows + P).
  2. A window will appear with 4 options. Select the option you wish to use:
    • Duplicate will make the local monitor and the projection screen have the same image.
    • Extended will make the local monitor and the projection screen have different images.

Before you leave:

  1. Log off computer properly
  2. Disconnect any usb devices and put them in their appropriate places
  3. Turn TV off.

ALF AUD

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Press the Power button on the projector remote.

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • Press the PC button.

Note: To adjust the volume, Press the up and down arrows on the touch screen.

Note: To mute audio press the mute button. Press again to unmute.

To show the laptop image:

  • Attach your laptop to the HDMI cable provided and select laptop HDMI on the touch screen.

To duplicate or extend the computer image to the projector or TV:

  1. Press and hold the Windows key and press the letter P (Windows + P).
  2. A window will appear with 4 options. Select the option you wish to use:
    • Duplicate will make the local monitor and the projection screen have the same image.
    • Extended will make the local monitor and the projection screen have different images.

To show a DVD video:

  1. Put the DVD in the PC disk drive
  2. On the tech cart PC, go to the Start Menu, then click File Explorer, then click “This PC”. Alternatively, search for “This PC” in the search bar.
  3. Double click the DVD drive

Note: Use the arrow keys to navigate menus.

To black-out the screen:

  1. Press the AV-MUTE button on the projector remote.
  2. To return to the image, press the AV-MUTE button again. 

To show a VHS video:

  • Put the VHS tape in the VHS player, and then press VHS on the touchscreen.  

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Press the power button on the projector remote twice.
