If you've been invited to use 1Password Enterprise by Information Technology, use the instructions below to claim your account.
Claim Your Account
- Find the 1Password invitation email in your inbox. Click the Activate Your Account button.
- In your browser, click the Sign In With Microsoft Button
- If you're already signed into CU resources, you'll be logged in automatically. If not, log in using your CU email address and password.
- The Microsoft sign-in page will present you with a Permissions Requested page. Click Accept near the bottom of the page.
- Once this process is completed, an administrator will need to confirm your account and grant you access to the 1Password vaults that your department uses. Check back after an hour to see your resources.
Set up your Devices
In order to make sure you can access your 1Password account from any device, and to make sure you don't get locked out you'll want to set up the 1Password Mobile App for Android or iOS. You can use the QR code on your Account Management page in 1Password to easily authenticate your mobile device.
Once you do that, you'll want to add the 1Password Browser Extension for your browser. The browser extension will allow you to auto-fill passwords on websites in your browser.
For each new device you connect to your account, you will be prompted to confirm the sign-in attempt on another device. This enhances the security of 1Password so that you can be sure only you are accessing your account.
