Self Service+ Keychain Solution Instructions

Summary

This is the current solution for the Mac pop saying:
"Self Service+ wants to use your confidential information stored in "Jamf Connect" in your
keychain."

When you see the Self Service+ pop-up requesting access to confidential information in the keychain:

  1. Enter their Cedarville password (but don't hit Enter or "Allow")
  2. Click "Always Allow"
  3. Click on the Self Service+ icon in the menu bar (tilted '+')
  4. Click "Connect" in the drop-down list and enter their credentials (might be auto-filled, might not)
  5. Click on the Self Service+ icon again, then choose "Get Software"
  6. In Self Service+, click on "Sign In" in the bottom left
  7. Authenticate (username, password, DUO prompt)
  8. If prompted to select a certificate, do so and confirm
