Identifying Processed Paragraphs in Putty Menus

Summary

This article explains how to identify a paragraph being processed within menus called from the command line in Putty.

Body

Menus that can be started from the command line are available via Putty for some offices (e.g. FA.MENU for Financial Aid, XHR.MENU for HR / Payroll).  Navigation through the menu structures, and selection of a process to be run at any point, are done by specifying the number of a menu item.  Information that isn't obvious is the name and location of the paragraph being used to run any particular process.  By specifying the number of a menu entry, followed by a question mark, e.g. "18?", the paragraph being processed by that menu entry and the directory location of that paragraph can be found.
