App Log in Issues

  • Ensure you have set up the app correctly. Make sure the company ID is set to "Cedarville" and the "Single Sign-On" (SSO) option is selected (see above section).

  • Often when people have difficulties logging into the app, their username/password is entered correctly, but the login gets stuck and fails to finish loading.
To solve this, completely close out of the app and try again.

Online Log in Issues

If you receive a message that says "Company, user name or password not valid"...

  • Verify that you went to cedarville.edu/dayforce to log in, NOT int.dayforce.com.

  • Verify that you have a valid network account and can log into something like myCU or Self-Service
If you have no issues logging into myCU but still cannot log into Dayforce...
    • Contact HR and ask them to verify that your "security settings" are setup in Dayforce.
These "security settings" must be in place in order for you to be able to log in.
  • Use another browser or an icognito window if you get past the SSO login and into a Dayforce screen that says "Loading..." because it might be a caching issue.

Other Dayforce Issues

Most other questions regarding Dayforce and University employment should be directed to Cedarville's Human Resource department. HR may be contacted by emailing hr@cedarville.edu or calling 937-766-7885.

HR handles employment reports requests. Additionally, if an inactive student worker is still marked active in Dayforce, the HR department must mark then as "not active" if the student wants to opt out of DUO two-factor authentication.
