SSC Event Room User Instructions

Please read all of the instructions before using the touch panel in the room.

Press the touchpanel to wake it up.

Next, plug the computer into the HDMI cable.  Use the adapter ring on the HDMI cable on the lectern to connect to computers that do not have HDMI outputs.

The Projector Control page should appear on the touch panel.  It will allow the projector(s) to be turned On and the connection to the laptop to be confirmed.  The touch panel screen will look like the image below depending on the room set up.  If more than one room is being used, more than one projector control will appear on the touch panel.

Select the “HDMI Floor” button on the touchpanel if using a lectern directly in front of a projection screen. This is considered the “Source”.  The Source should now appear on the projection room screen.

Select the HDMI Wall option if the lectern cabling is connected to wall plate instead of the floor pocket. (This option is only available in 241, 245 and 246).

Play audio from the laptop and adjust the “Source Volume” level until it can be heard.  Or turn it down if it is too loud.

If everything is working properly the room is ready for use.  Turn off the projector when the setup is complete using the Projector tab.  Do not turn off the “Power” at the right of the ribbon.

When the meeting is over, or the room(s) need to be reset to Event Rooms default settings, press the “Power” button in the right corner of the screen.  The “Shutdown page” will appear.

Press “Yes, shut down.  This will Shut Off the projector if it is On.  It will also reset the room assignments and delete the Source settings.
