Starting December 14, 2023, Cedarville Digital Commons authors, editors, and administrators must log in to Digital Commons using their Digital Commons credentials, NOT their CedarNet credentials.
Those who are not DC authors, editors, or administrators do not need to log in or create an account.
To create a new Digital Commons account:
- Go to Cedarville Digital Commons > [My Account] located in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Under the "User Login" section, enter your Cedarville email address (it is important that your new account still uses your Cedarville email address so that you retain access to your submissions and editor permissions).
- Click [Forget your password?] and enter your Cedarville email address, then click [Reset Password].
- Open the email from dc-support@bepress.com (Bepress is the vendor who hosts Cedarville's Digital Commons).
- Click the link to reset your password to a new and unique password for use only on the Digital Commons site (it is critical that you do not reuse your CedarNet password).
You should receive a message that your password has been successfully changed.
To log in to Digital Commons:
- Return to Cedarville Digital Commons. > [My Account] located in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Under the "User Login" section, enter your Cedarville email address and your new Digital Commons password.
- Make sure to check the "I'm not a robot" reCAPTCHA box.
- Click the blue [Login] button.
You should now be successfully logged in.
