Install Facstaff Printers

Faculty and Staff will now have to manually install printers in order to print from Cedarville University devices. This includes all systems Faculty and Staff log into and need to print from. Luckily, the process is simple. 

To manually install Facstaff Printers: 

  1. Open File Explorer.
  2. Type \\print-facstaff in the blank box to the left of the "Search This PC" search bar. If that gives you an error, type \\print-facstaff.cedarville.edu instead. 
  3. Scroll through the list of printers to find the printer that you are looking for. Printers are marked with location indicators to help you find them. 
  4. Double-click on the printer and allow it to install. Your access may be denied if you do not have rights to that printer. 
  5. Go to "Settings" > select "Bluetooth & devices" > click "Printers & scanners," and you should see the printer as an option. You can also use applications like Word to check if the printer has been installed by selecting the "Print" option.
