Cedarville University Dual Enrollment is responsible for the following issues:
- Communicating information with CSP facilitators and students
- Create facilitator accounts (i.e. teachername_CSP)
- NOTE: Facilitator accounts do not have a @cedarville.edu email.

CTL Contact Information
- The CSP Facilitator contacts the Cedarville University (CU) faculty member.
- That CU faculty member contacts CTL on your behalf.
- CTL responds to the CU faculty member, who relays the update back through the facilitator.

How to access myCU and Canvas/Logging in for the first time
After an initial login AND every 180 days, myCU and Canvas will require you to log into your account with a pin which will be sent to the alternate (non-CU) email associated with your account.
General Information
If you experience issues with Canvas, use the following information to get in touch with the correct contact:
- Contact IT: If you experience issues with Canvas Roster
- Contact IT: If you experience issues logging into and/or accessing Canvas
- Contact Canvas Support: If you experience issues while working within Canvas
If you do not know the password for your Cedarville University account, or if this is your first time logging into your account, please reset your password through our Self-Service Password Reset system (SSPR).
Logging into Canvas
Use the following steps to log into myCU and Canvas for the first time:
- To access myCU, navigate to https://mycu.cedarville.edu:
- Select the Sign in option in the top right corner of the main page:

- Selecting Sign in will populate a page where you will enter your email address associated with Cedarville University:
NOTE: MAKE SURE to sign in with your full Cedarville University username, ending in @cedarville.edu

- Select your preferred method of signing into your account, and you will then be prompted to enter your password:

- Follow the steps below to authenticate your account with a code that will be sent to an alternate email SEPARATE from your CU school email.
a. Select "Next"

- Select the option "I want to set up a different method."

- Select the Email option.

- Enter an email that is NOT associated with your Cedarville email (make sure you have access to this email while you are on your high school campus) and select "Next."

- Enter the code sent to the email NOT associated with your Cedarville account and select "Next."

- Select "Done."

What a School Needs to Have in Place Before Classes Start
Before classes begin, please ensure that the following steps have been completed:
- Students MUST know their password to their CU student email/account (they can reset the password using our Password Reset page)
- Students MUST have access to the phone number/email associated with their school account so they can retrieve the code.
- IF POSSIBLE, the email the code will be sent to should be the email associated with their school account (for simplicity sake)
- Run a test before classes begin - ensure students all have access to their accounts BEFORE the course begins

Canvas Support
Contact Canvas Support if a student is experiencing issues while working INSIDE of Canvas. Contact CU IT if the student is experiencing access issues with Canvas.
If students are experiencing issues within Canvas, direct them to contact Canvas support:

Be sure to sign in with your full Cedarville (.............@cedarville.edu) email and password.

- Canvas: Submit assignments, check grades, view course syllabi
- View Schedules: Chapel, classes, athletics, dining hall, faculty, library, and knowledge base

Faculty members should be aware that there are specific platforms professors may require their students to use that have an AGE REQUIREMENT (some students may not be able to use a specific platform if they are under the age of 18)! See our list of platforms with an age restriction here.
