ServeCU Request

If you are experiencing difficulties with your University network account, hardware, network connection, or any other technology-related issue, please submit a ServeCU request so that our staff can assist you as soon as possible.

Submit a ServeCU Request

  1. To navigate to IT's Service Catalog, go to www.cedarville.edu/ServeCU. You can also access these services through your myCU portal. Beneath "Campus Services," select "Information Technology Request." Or, navigate to the FacStaff/Student home pages and select "Information Technology Request" or "IT Support" from the listed options below.
  2. Log in with your username and password.
  3. Underneath the "Services" tab, you will be presented with the Service Catalog. Click on the appropriate category that describes your issue, whether it involves office devices, printing, wireless, or web services.
  4. Underneath the category you have chosen, select the specific service you wish to request.
  5. Click on the green "Request" button.
  6. On the page that appears, some of the information will have autofilled. Verify that this information is correct.
  7. Enter any information that is requested but didn't autofill. In the "Description" field, please explain the issue, providing as many details as possible:
    • The text of any error messages you have received
    • When the problem began and how often it occurs
    • Any programs you recently installed or other recent changes made to your system
  8. When you are finished, click "Request".
  9. A confirmation of your request submission will be emailed to you, along with a link which you can use to track the progress of your request.

Check the Status of a ServeCU Request

To check the status of your service request, return to the Service Catalog page. On the right hand side of the page, you will see "My Recent Requests" and an option to "View All Recent Requests" which will allow you to check the status of your requests and view any actions associated with your requests.

Unable to Submit a Request?

If the nature of your technology issue prevents you from submitting a ServeCU request, please use a different University computer to submit the request or call Information Technology at 937-766-7905. We are happy to help!
