- Download Maple installation file to your system.
- Double click on the downloaded installation file and start the installation process.You will need local admin rights to run this installation. Use MakeMeAdmin.
- Window – “Setup – Maple Welcome to the Maple Setup Wizard” – Click “Next”.
- Window – “License Agreement” -- Click radio button next to “I accept the agreement” and then Click “Next”.
- Window – “Installation Directory” – Click “Next”.
- Window – “Install Desktop Shortcut” – Click “Next”.
- Window – Licensing structure – Make sure the radio button next to Single User License is marked and click “Next”.
- Window – “Check for Updates” – Click “Next”; Click OK on the window that pops up.
- Window – “Pre-Installation Summary” – Click “Next”.
- Wait until the installation finishes. If any updates are available, they will be installed after the initial installation finishes.
- Window – “Completing the Maple Setup Wizard” – Click “Finish”.
- A “Maplesoft Activation” window pops up and you will need to make sure of the following information.
- Purchase Code – <#this will be sent to you in an email#>.
- Operating System – Windows 10.
- Activating behind a proxy server? NO.Make sure radio button is marked next to NO.
- Click “Next”.
- Continue “Maplesoft Activation” window with the required information.
- Purchase Code* – Should be pre-filled from the last window.
- First Name* – Input First Name.
- Last Name* – Input Last Name.
- Email Address* - Input email address you want to use for correspondence.
- Check the box next to “I consent to collection of information…”.
- Click “OK” on window that comes up telling you activation was successful.
- Start program and allow firewall exceptions.
- You will have two windows pop up that require you to allow java through the windows firewall.Allow the firewall exceptions.You will need local admin rights through MakeMeAdmin.
