DMC 101

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Tap the PROJECTOR ON button. The image will appear in about 60 seconds.

 

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • Tap the PC button.

Note: To adjust the volume, use the volume button on the right side of the touch panel.

 

To show the laptop image:

  1. Attach your laptop to the VGA or HDMI cable provided.
  2. Tap the LAPTOP button that matches the type of cable you have. 
  3. Check your laptop resolution to make sure it is 1280x800. If the image does not appear, tap FN + F? (e.g., Fn + F8) on the laptop to toggle through the display settings.

Note: To adjust the volume, use the volume button on the right side of the touch panel.

 

To show a DVD or VHS video:

  • Put the DVD or VHS in the DVD/VCR player, and then tap the DVD or VCR button.                             

Note: To adjust the volume, use the volume button on the right side of the touch panel. Additional controls are located on the touch screen.          

To show the document camera:

  1. Tap the DOC CAM button.
  2. Select either the PC, LAPTOP VGA, or CD option as your desired audio source.

Note: To adjust the volume, use the volume button on the right side of the touch panel.

 

To play audio with no image on the screen:

  • Tap the CD/Cassette button.

Note: To adjust the volume, use the volume button on the right side of the touch panel.

 

To black-out the screen:

  1. Tap the MUTE button on the left side of the touch panel.
  2. To display the image, tap the MUTE button again.

 

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices, videotapes and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Tap the PROJECTOR OFF button.

DMC 102

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

DMC 103

DMC 105 System

General use

  • If you press COMMAND + F1, the login screen should appear on the local monitor. This should help without powering on the TVs to login.
  • Touch the “Press to start” button
  • Touch the Room icon in the upper left corner
  • Select the full screen icon in the upper left corner (this will make the displays one large image)
  • Press the red X in the upper right corner to close that screen
  • Select your source from the left side of the touch panel
    • Podium Input – the lectern in front of the room
    • Mac Mini - This is the computer that is connected to the camera and microphone system in the room
    • Apple TV - Use this to connect any iOS device and present wireless
  • Once the source is selected assign it to the TV's
    • Touch inside the large box in the center of the touch panel
    • You should see your source inside i.e. "Podium Input"
  • You will also need to assign the audio
    • Touch inside the "Audio" box located in the lower right corner
    • You should see your source inside i.e. "Podium Input"

Muting the video

  • Touch the Video Off button in the lower left corner and assign it to the TV
  • To unmute the video, select the source and assign it to the TV

Assigning separate audio and video sources

  • If you wish to have a separate audio source from the video source, select the source you wish to hear and assign it to the audio icon in the bottom right corner
  • When using the Mac mini, be sure the audio output is set to Crestron HDMI. You will not hear audio from the Mac mini if any other output is selected on the Mac mini.

To control volume

  • Press the + or – icon on the bottom of the touch panel. The blue bar will display the audio level in the room
  • To mute the audio, select the “speaker x” icon. It will become red when audio is muted
  • To unmute the audio, select the “speaker x” icon again
  • The Mac mini audio must be on Crestron HDMI output 

Controlling cameras

  • Press the Camera icon in the upper right corner
  • Select the camera you wish to control
    • Front Camera – camera in front of the room to the left of the video wall
    • Reat Camera – camera in the rear of the room
  • The “plus” sign is the way to control the camera by either tilting up or down and panning it left or right
  • The + icon can zoom the camera closer to an individual
  • The – icon can zoom the camera away from an individual
  • You can switch between the 2 cameras, but there are some things to consider
    • The camera will be turned off when using Microsoft Teams
    • It takes about 12 seconds to switch cameras
    • Within Microsoft Teams, you will have to unmute the video. This is done on the Mac mini within the Teams software.
  • Presets are configured, but can be changed at any time
  • Presenter camera presets
    • Preset 1 – Tech cart with presenter
    • Preset 2 – The 2 front tables are in view
    • Preset 3 – First 5-6 seats on the west side of the room
    • Preset 4 – Last 6 seats on the west side of the room
    • Preset 5 – Almost full room (last 2 back tables are not in view)
  • Audience camera presets
    • Preset 1 – 2 rear tables are in view
    • Preset 2 – Last 6 seats on the east side of the room
    • Preset 3 – First 6 seats on the east side of the room
    • Preset 4 – All of the east side of the room
    • Preset 5 – Almost full room (front 4 tables are not in view)
  • To change a preset
    • Move the camera into the position you want to save
    • Press and hold the preset button you want it saved to
      • If you wish to change Preset 3, please and hold Preset 3 for 5 seconds
      • A “preset saved” text will appear at the top of the preset buttons

Audio

  • The audio icon in the upper right corner will control the wireless microphones and Bluetooth audio receiver. (Bluetooth audio speaker has been disabled)

Bluetooth receiver (This has been disabled)

  • This allows you to connect the Bluetooth of your phone to the system and listen to music without the TV’s being powered on
  • Download the Denon 500 Series Remote app on your phone
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone
  • You can now pair your phone to the DN-200BR
  • To control the volume of your phone, go to the Audio page and turn up or down the volume under the Bluetooth section

Power off the system

  • Select the Power button in the upper right corner
  • Select Yes, shut down

Video conferencing (Mac mini in equipment rack)

  • The wireless handheld and lapel microphones will not work with the videoconferencing system
  • Log into the Mac mini as normal (please use wireless mouse and keyboard)
  • Launch the Microsoft Teams app
  • Be sure to select AT-HDVS-CAM for the camera and TesiraFORTE for the microphone and Crestron HDMI for the speaker
  • Tap the microphone icon in the lower right corner to mute and unmute the ceiling microphones. The LED on the microphones indicate when the microphone is on (green) and when it is off (red)

DMC 124

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Tap the POWER ON button on the projector remote

 

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • If the image does not come on automatically select input HDMI 1 on the remote.
  • Note: to mute video press AV-MUTE on the projector remote 
    • Press again to unmute
                     

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly. 
  2. Remove all USB devices, videotapes and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Tap the POWER STAND-BY button twice on the projector remote.

DMC 125

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • On the NEC projector remote control, press the ON button located at the top of the remote.

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • On the Extron switcher, press the input 2 button on the left side. Then press the output button 1 on the right side of the Extron switcher

To show the laptop image:

  1. Attach your laptop or tablet to the provided HDMI cable. You will need to provide your own adapter if your device does not have an HDMI connection.
  2. On the Extron switcher, press the input 1 button on the left side. Then press the output button 1 on the right side of the Extron switcher        

To show the document camera:

  • On the Extron switcher, press the input 3 button on the left side. Then press the output button 1 on the right side of the Extron switcher

To control the volume level:

  • On the small Extron audio controller, turn the knob to increase or decrease the audio level

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices.
  3. Press the STANDBY button on the projector remote control twice.

DMC 149

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Tap the DISPLAY ON button. The image will appear in about 60 seconds.

 

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • Tap the PC button.

Note: To adjust the volume, use the VOLUME knob.

 

To show the laptop image:

  1. Attach your laptop to the VGA or HDMI cable provided.
  2. Press LAPTOP on the panel
  3. Check your laptop resolution to make sure it is 1280x800. If the image does not appear, tap WINDOWS key +"P" to toggle through display settings.

 

To play audio with no image on the screen:

  • Tap PC or Laptop button and let your audio play without pressing DISPLAY ON.

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices, videotapes and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Tap the DISPLAY OFF button.

DMC 152

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Tap the PROJECTOR ON button. The image will appear in about 60 seconds.
  • Press the SCREEN DOWN button.

 

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • Tap the PC button.

Note: To adjust the volume, press the plus or minus buttons in the Source Volume section on the touch screen.

 

To show the laptop image:

  1. Attach your laptop to the  HDMI cable provided.
  2. Tap the Tech Cart HDMI button.
  3. Check your laptop resolution to make sure it is 1280x800. If the image does not appear, tap FN + F? (e.g., Fn + F8) on the laptop to toggle through the display settings.

Note: To adjust the volume, use the volume button on the right side of the touch panel.

To show chapel feed:

  • Select Chapel Feed HDMI on the touch screen.

To show a DVD:

  • Put the DVD in the DVD player and select Blu-Ray                       

To show something from the floor pocket or back of room HDMI:

  • Connect device to either HDMI pocket.
  • Select the corresponding HDMI on the touch screen.

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices, videotapes and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Tap the PROJECTOR OFF button.
  4. Press the SCREEN UP button.

DMC 154

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Tap the POWER ON button on the projector remote

 

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • If the image does not come on automatically select input HDMI 1 on the remote.                 

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices, videotapes and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Tap the POWER STAND-BY button twice on the projector remote.

DMC 164

To turn the ceiling mounted projector on:

  • Tap the DISPLAY ON button

 

To show the tech cart computer image:

  • Tap the PC button.

Note: To adjust the volume, use the up and down arrows under VOLUME

 

To show the laptop image:

  1. Attach your laptop to the  cable provided.
  2. Tap the LAPTOP button 
  3. Check your laptop resolution to make sure it is 1280x800. If the image does not appear, tap WINDOWS key + "P" to toggle through display settings.

 

To black-out the screen:

  1. Tap the MUTE button on the left side of the touch panel.
  2. To display the image, tap the MUTE button again.

To play audio with the projector off:

  1. Press either the PC or LAPTOP button. 
  2. Play your audio.

 

When you are done:

  1. Log off the computer properly.
  2. Remove all USB devices, videotapes and discs from their appropriate places.
  3. Tap the DISPLAY OFF button
  4. Tap the SYSTEM OFF button
