NOTE: Users under 18 years of age are INELIGIBLE https://learn.microsoft.com/enus/copilot/faq#:~:text=Are%20there%20any,aren%27t%20yet%20eligible. If student is under 18 years of age direct them to their professor for alternate AI options for completing the assignment.
If you have attempted to use Microsoft CoPilot but continue to receive the message, "Coming soon," complete the following steps in order to troubleshoot the problem:
- Navigate to copilot.cloud.microsoft.com.
- When the page comes up, it should look like this:
- Click [Sign In] and use your CU log in credentials.
- Select "sign in with a work or school account" if prompted.
You should then be able to enter prompts into the chat.
To generate an image, be sure to:
- Begin your prompt with "generate an image of..."
- Be specific with what you need.
NOTE: You do NOT need to sign into any type of account to use the free version of Microsoft CoPilot.
If the steps above do not fix the issue, try one or multiple of the following in order to troubleshoot the issue:
- Use an incognito window
- Use a different browser
- Reset all cookies
- Check your connection
