How to get voicemails sent to my email

Here's how to have the voicemail system send voicemail messages to your email mailbox.  Note: This procedure must be performed when connected to the Cedarville University network on campus.

  1. Go to and login with your extension number and web password.  This password is different from the PIN number that is used to access voicemail from a phone.  If you don't know the web password to your voicemail box, please go to Office Devices: Report a problem and request a password reset for the web interface to your voicemail.  Make sure you include your 4 digit phone extension.
  2. Click on the 3 horizontal lines in the upper left-hand corner of the screen and select Settings.
  3. Click on User Settings.
  4. Under the Voicemail section, enter your email address in the Email box.
  5. Check the box next to "Attach audio."
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save.  It may take a few moments for it to finish saving.

When you receive a voicemail from the phone system, you should now receive an email with the voicemail attached as an mp3 file that can be played within your email.
