You can set up the University phone system to send notifications to your email mailbox whenever you receive a new voicemail message. After setup, these emails will contain the voicemail message attached as an mp3 file that can be played within your email.
Note: This procedure must be performed when connected to the Cedarville University network on campus or when connected to GlobalProtect VPN off campus.
- Go to voicemail.cedarville.edu and login with your 4-digit phone extension and web password.
The
web password is different from the
PIN number used to access voicemail from a phone. If you don't know the
web password to use online, please submit a
ServeCU request under
Office Devices: Ask for Help / Report a Problem to request a password reset for the web interface to your voicemail.
Please include your 4-digit phone extension in the request.
- In the upper-left corner of the screen, click the 3 horizontal lines then select Settings.
- From the new menu, select User Settings.
- Under the Voicemail section, make the following adjustments:
- Email: Enter your email address in this box.
- Attach audio: Check this box to receive an mp3 file attached to the email notification.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save. It may take a few moments for it to finish saving.
