Turn On Automatic Windows Updates

Based on the version of windows you are running, follow the instructions to turn on automatic Windows updates.

In Windows XP:

1. Click [Start].
2. Click "Control Panel."
3. Click "Security Center."
4. Click "Automatic Updates."
5. Click [Turn in Automatic Updates].
6. Close Windows Security Center.

In Windows Vista:

1. Click on the MOB (start).
2. Click "Control Panel."
3. Click "Security Center."
4. Click "Automatic updating."
5. Click [Change settings].
6. Click Install updates automatically (recommended).
7. Close Windows Security Center.

In Windows 7:

1. Click the [Windows] home button at the lower-left corner.
2. Click "Control Panel."
3. Click "Windows Update."
4. Click "Auto Update."

In Windows 10:

1. Click the [Windows] home button at the lower-left corner.
2. Select "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Update."
3. Click "Advanced Options" > Select "Automatic (recommended)."
