Students, faculty, and staff will now use Self-Service to manage banking information such as direct deposits and payroll information. The following instructions explain how to manage the Self-Service "banking" section.
There are two different types of accounts you can add:
- Direct Deposit Account: Employee paychecks will be deposited here.
- Refund, Reimbursement & Payment Deposit: University reimbursements and refunds will be deposited here.
Add a Direct Deposit Account
- From the Self-Service home page, click "Banking Information." You will see an overview of your active accounts.
- Click [Add an Account].
- Click the Refund, Reimbursement & Payment Deposit [On] button to deselect it. The button will turn red.
- Under Deposit Details, select how you would like your money to be deposited.
- Click [Next].
- Give your account a name, such as "John's Account" or "Car Savings."
- Enter your bank routing number. To deposit money into your student account, enter 021000021 as the routing number.
- Enter your bank account number. To deposit money into your student account, enter your seven-digit student ID as the account number.
- Select the Account Type.
- Check the box to agree to the listed terms and conditions.
- Click [Save].
Remove a Direct Deposit Account
- From the Self-Service home page, click "Banking Information." You will see an overview of your active accounts.
- Find the account you wish to remove and click the [>] arrow associated with it.
- Click the green [On] button to deselect the account. The button will turn red.
- Click [Save]. The account is no longer active.
Add a Refund Account
- From the Self-Service home page, click "Banking Information." You will see an overview of your active accounts.
- Click [Add an Account].
- Click the Payroll Deposit [On] button to deslect it. The button will turn red.
- Click [Next].
- Give your account a name, such as "Refund Account."
- Enter your bank routing number. To deposit money into your student account, enter 021000021 as the routing number.
- Enter your bank account number. To deposit money into your student account, enter your seven-digit ID as the account number.
- Select the Account Type.
- Check the box to agree to the listed terms and conditions.
- Click [Save].
Remove a Refund Account
- From the Self-Service home page, click "Banking Information." you will see an overview of your active accounts.
- Find the account you wish to remove and click the [>] arrow associated with it.
- Click the green [On] button to deselect the account. The button will turn red.
- Click [Save]. The account is no longer active.
Re-activate an Account
If you deleted an account, the only way to "reactivate" it is to re-enter the account information and add that account again.
