Troubleshooting for Dual Enrollment & CSP Students

Dual Enrollment students are considered "full" Cedarville students and are granted Cedarville accounts. This includes:

  • Dual Enrollment: Students currently enrolled in both college and high school courses and are receiving credit for both.
  • Christian School Partnership (CSP): Students can take Cedarville Classes at their private Christian high school for dual enrollment credits. The school they are affiliated with will provide a Facilitator and Cedarville will provide them with a CU account and a CU professor.
  • College Credit Plus (CCP): Students that are Ohio residents in grades 7-12 can take college courses for free and earn high school and college credit. This is through the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE).

Dual Enrollment

Issues with Dual Enrollment student applications should always be directed to the Dual Enrollment Office using the extension, 3333.

Dual Enrollment students can only register for classes through the link sent to their email from the Dual Enrollment Office.

Christian School Partnership (CSP)

Many of the issues CSP Students face can be resolved in the same manner as with Cedarville students. For example:

  • Issues with Proctorio: Refer to Proctorio Troubleshooting and Support.
  • Issues with Canvas: Reach out to Canvas Support
  • Issues with Kaltura: Follow the steps in this Kaltura KB and reach out to the TA and Cedarville professor. The Facilitator and CU Professor can then reach out to CTL.
  • Issues accessing YouTube: This is most likely an age restriction set by YouTube, 18 years of age. CU does NOT control this restriction. Solutions:
    • Facilitator can play the video in class.
    • The student can ask their parent to access it for them at home. Always direct the student to go through the proper channels for permissions.
  • Issues accessing CoPilot: This is most likely due to an age limit restriction of 18 years of age. Contact the professor for alternate AI options to complete the assignment.

The following information should be provided when contacting CU IT with issues related to CSP courses (e.g. Canvas, Kaltura):

  • Full name
  • The Course identifier
  • The high school name
  • The name and number of the class
  • The facilitator's name
  • The Cedarville Professor's name
  • The browser the student is using
  • The platform being used
  • The type of device the student is using
  • The version installed on the device
