Keyspan Presentation Remote Pro (Version PR-PR03) QuickStart

For a detailed explanation and picture diagram of all of the buttons and functions of the KEYSPAN Presentation Remote Pro, please see the Keyspan Presentation Remote Instructions

To Setup the Remote:

  1. To remove the receiver from inside the remote, press your thumb down on the top, back portion of the remote. When you hear a "click," release your thumb.
  2. Remove the receiver.
  3. Connect the receiver to an available USB port.
  4. Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote as indicated on the remote case. Your presentation remote is now ready for use.

To Use the Remote:

  • The remote has two modes that can be toggled with the white (MODE) button.
  • When the mode button is not showing a green light, the mouse mode is active. This means that the remote control will act like a USB mouse.
  • When the MODE button is green, the remote is in media mode.
  • To use the laser pointer, press and hold the red Laser Pointer butotn located in the middle of the remote.

Warning!  Do not shine the laser in your eyes. Doing so may lead to temporary or permanent eye damage.

To Change the Remote's ID (Troubleshooting):

You may need to change the remote’s ID if your remote control is not responding or if another KEYSPAN Presentation Remote is interfering with your remote (a classroom next to yours). To change your remote's ID, the receiver must be connected to a USB port.

  1. Press the Connect button once the receiver is in the USB port. The receiver's light will turn on.
  2. Press the Composite Switch (black 'wheel' on the side of the remote) and hold the laser pointer button simultaneously until the status red light on the remote control blinks slowly.
  3. Check to make sure the USB receiver blinks at the same time as the remote. If so, your remote now has a new ID and the receiver is listening to the new ID.
  4. If there are multiple issues, repeat these steps for every remote you have in the same area. If there are only two remotes interfering with one another, changing one remote's ID should eliminate the issue.
