CedarPrint gives students, faculty, and staff the option to print from a personal computer (e.g., a laptop) to University printers. This article explains how to set up your personal computer for printing.

University-owned computer: CedarPrint should already be installed.
To use CedarPrint from a wireless device, you must be connected to the eduroam wireless network. For help connecting to eduroam wireless, see these setup instructions.
Follow the instructions below to Install CedarPrint Using Windows:
- Open your wireless network connections then select Connect to eduroam.
- Click on this link: CedarPrint Driver
- Click Download the Windows installer. Log in with your Cedarville username and password if prompted.
- At the bottom of the screen, select the file you just downloaded to begin installing CedarPrint.
- Follow the instructions that populate on your screen, and after the installer discovers available printers, select "CedarPrint [Cedarville University".
- To install the CedarPrint Color printer, simply run the installation link again, but select "CedarPrint Color [Cedarville University]" instead.
- Click Next, and enter your Cedarville username and password when prompted.
- The printer should install automatically. The name of the printer will be "CedarPrint [Cedarville University] (Mobility)"
If you are asked at any point during the installation process to allow the program to make changes to your device, select Yes.
CedarPrint Troubleshooting
If you experience difficulty with CedarPrint, follow the instructions below to troubleshoot the issue:
- Install the Latest CedarPrint. Make sure you've installed the latest version of CedarPrint on Mac or Windows.
- Make sure your personal computer is connected to eduroam. You cannot print unless you are logged into the eduroam network.
- Restart the computer. If you are having trouble printing from any computer, restart the computer to make sure CedarPrint is installed correctly.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, please take your laptop to the IT Service Counter or contact Cedarville IT.
If the issue involves a University computer, please submit an online service ticket.
