Set Up CedarPrint on a Windows Computer

CedarPrint wireless printing gives students, faculty, and staff the option to print from a personal computer (e.g., a laptop) to University laser printers. This tech help page will explain how to set up your personal computer for wireless printing.

On a Mac? See ouCedarPrint instructions for Mac & iOS

On a University-owned computer? CedarPrint should already be installed.

Note: To use CedarPrint from a wireless device, you must be connected to the eduroam wireless network. For help connecting to eduroam wireless, see these setup instructions.

CedarPrint Troubleshooting

If you experience difficulty with CedarPrint software, the following troubleshooting options may resolve your issue.

To Troubleshoot CedarPrint:

  • Install the Latest CedarPrint. Make sure you've installed the latest version of CedarPrint on Mac or Windows.
  • Make sure your personal computer is connected to eduroam. You cannot wirelessly print unless you are logged into the eduroam wireless network. CedarPrint will not work with the cu-guest wireless network.
For information on how to set up eduroam, please click the link for the Wireless Connection to Eduroam help page.
  • Restart the computer. If you are having trouble printing from a University computer, restart the computer to make sure CedarPrint is installed correctly.

If these troubleshooting suggestions do not resolve the issue you are having, please take your laptop to TechStop (north side of the Tyler Digital Communication Center—external glass door facing the Milner Business Administration Building). TechStop is open from 11 am - 4:30 pm, Mondays through Fridays during the academic year and by appointment only during the summer term and over breaks.

If the issue involves a University computer, please submit an online service ticket.
