To Gain Administrator Access on Mac Computers:

Open the "CedarNet 2.0 for Mac" application.
Locate the "Make Me Admin" option, and click "Elevate Access" to initiate the process.
When prompted, select "Make me an admin, please" to activate for 15 minutes.
You can now install updates using your local Mac username and password.
