This article is intended for FACULTY and STAFF only.
Here are instructions on how to manually connect to the Laerdal Patient Monitoring software if its not connecting automatically. These instructions assumes the following:
- All cables are properly plugged in.
- The Simulator and SimPad are turned on and working.

Troubleshooting Laerdal software not connecting to simulator.
- Turn off Wi-Fi on the laptop.
- Click on this icon in the bottom right on area of the laptop.

- Click the Wi-Fi Symbol or the arrow to see the toggle option.


- You know the Wi-Fi is turned off when the symbols are all white.


- Restart the Laptop.
- Click the Windows icon at the bottom of the screen.

- Click the power icon near the right of the menu.

- Select Restart from the options.

- Once the Laptop is turned back on, log in with the LabLogin user.
- Launch the Laerdal Software.
- Select Patient Monitoring.
- It should connect automatically or prompt a Simulator for selection.
Congratulations! After there is proper connection to the Patient Monitoring software you can enable the Wi-Fi with no issues.
