To Download Mac Password Sync from CedarNet:

  3. From the menu on the left, select IT Support.
  4. Click Mac Password Sync.
  5. Read the description then click Add.

To Setup Mac Password Sync:

  1. Type your CedarNet username and password then click Sign In
  2. Click Yes to sign in automatically from now on.
  3. When prompted for your Active Directory password, enter your CedarNet password. Also enter your local Mac password then click Verify.
  4. Click OK to confirm.
  5. Continue using your Mac as normal!

To Confirm Mac Password Sync Worked:

  1. In the top left corner of the screen, select the Apple logo ().
  2. Select Log Out (your name)...
  3. Sign into the computer using your CedarNet password.
If you do not remember your old CedarNet password, please submit a ServeCU request under Classroom & Labs: Ask for Help / Report a Problem. A technician will be able to use an administrator account to bypass the old password prompt.
