    We provide assistance with your user account, network and internet connectivity, hardware/software, mobile devices, and other technology needs.

Canvas Support

For Canvas Support: Call (855) 745-4411, or chat at this link.
While the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) does not provide Canvas support, it assists faculty with course setup and content in Canvas. The CTL can be reached at this link or by calling 937-766-3300.

Connect to WiFi

  • Access to CU’s Wireless: Connect to EDUROAM (this WiFi network is used for ALL personal devices). 

  • Log in with your FULL CU email address.

  • Follow these instructions for all devices.

Access myCU (Main Menu)

  • Be sure to sign into myCu with your full Cedarville credentials. 
     
  • The ‘Search Bar’ allows you to easily search for many Faculty resources like:
    • Canvas: Online resource for the Center for Teaching and Learning, class rosters, syllabus submission, & entering final grades.
    • Advising & Registration Transactions: Self Service Planning, Slate, View Degree Plans, etc.
    • Campus Services: Requests for Design Services, Event Planning, IT & AV, Maintenance, Marketing & Communications, Room Reservations, Vehicle permits.
    • Employee Services: Dayforce, Direct Deposit & Payroll, doctrinal statement agreement.
    • Security & Privacy: Change password, set security questions, sign up for emergency notification.

Access Files with Global VPN Off-Campus

When working off-campus, Global VPN is the secure connection to CU information while working from a remote location.

File Storage Options

  • Microsoft OneDrive (secure file storage with daily backs for network files)

  • Local Storage: C: drive (personal storage - least secure, you are responsible to back up files).

CedarNet and Other Software

CedarNet:

  • CU has over 70 software programs currently installed for faculty, staff, and students.
     
  • CedarNet software is licensed for university computers only (Use Global VPN for off-campus access).

Other Software:

  • Faculty have a license for MS Office 365 applications for use on their personal computers.
     
  • For Online Software and Technology Training (access to quick, online, informative, video tutorials), go to Infobase Learning Cloud. Log in with your full Cedarville credentials.

Courtesy Accounts

The courtesy account system is designed to allow faculty to manage and maintain official Cedarville University accounts that belong to people who are not current students, alumni, or regular employees. Learn more about courtesy accounts here

Network Printing and Print Quotas

Newtwork Printing:

  • Network printers are located in administrative and academic buildings. Choose “Campus Copiers” for printing to network printers. Using the Campus Copiers

  • Most academic and administrative departments also have network-connected printers.

  • See Printing FAQ’s for more information.

Print Quotas:

  • Students have limited print quotas, so please consider accepting online/electronic assignment submissions.

  • Faculty print is through the shared account (“Personal Account” will not work), and quotas are handled by your particular department.
